1. About ScreenSeek
ScreenSeek (com.loh.screenseek) is a mobile application that
helps you search, filter, and organize screenshots. Screenshot analysis,
including text recognition, QR-code detection, and face-presence detection,
is performed on your device.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of agreeing to these terms. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use ScreenSeek only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
3. License to use the app
Subject to these terms and the applicable app-store rules, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use ScreenSeek on devices you own or control. ScreenSeek and its software, design, branding, and content are licensed, not sold.
4. Your screenshots and device access
You retain ownership of your screenshots and other content. You authorize ScreenSeek to access and process the photos you make available only as needed to provide the app's features. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to store, process, share, or delete content using the app.
You can change photo permissions in your device settings. Restricting access may limit the screenshots ScreenSeek can find or process. Deletion requests use the operating system's confirmation flow where required.
5. ScreenSeek Pro purchases
ScreenSeek may offer the following optional purchases:
- Monthly: an automatically renewing subscription that provides ScreenSeek Pro access while the subscription remains active.
- Lifetime: a one-time, non-consumable purchase that provides ScreenSeek Pro access for the supported lifetime of the app and service.
Available products, prices, currencies, taxes, trial eligibility, and billing periods are shown in the app and confirmed by Google Play before purchase. Prices and availability may vary by country and may change as permitted by the store's rules.
6. Trials, renewals, cancellation, and refunds
If an eligible monthly subscription includes a free trial, its duration and the price charged afterward will be displayed before you subscribe. Unless canceled before the trial or current billing period ends, the subscription automatically renews and your Google Play payment method is charged at the price presented by Google Play.
You can manage or cancel a subscription through Google Play or the customer management tools available in ScreenSeek. Cancellation stops future renewal and does not normally end access before the current paid period expires. Purchases and refund requests are processed under Google Play's applicable billing and refund policies. Uninstalling ScreenSeek does not cancel a subscription.
7. Purchase restoration
ScreenSeek uses RevenueCat and Google Play to validate and restore purchases. Access may require the same Google account used for the original purchase, an internet connection, and successful verification by these services.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use ScreenSeek in violation of applicable law or another person's rights;
- attempt to bypass purchase checks or access paid features without authorization;
- reverse engineer or redistribute the app except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- interfere with the app, its security, Google Play, or RevenueCat; or
- use the app to distribute unlawful, harmful, or infringing material.
9. Detection and search limitations
OCR, search, QR-code detection, and face detection may produce incomplete or inaccurate results. Face detection reports only whether one or more faces may be present and their approximate location. It does not identify people, compare faces, create biometric templates, or perform facial recognition.
Do not rely on ScreenSeek as the sole basis for legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, identity, or emergency decisions. You should verify important results against the original screenshot or another reliable source.
10. Third-party services
Purchases and related account functions rely on Google Play and RevenueCat. Your use of those services is also governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. ScreenSeek is not responsible for outages, decisions, or account restrictions imposed by third-party services.
11. Updates and availability
ScreenSeek may receive updates that add, change, or remove features; address security or compatibility issues; or comply with store and legal requirements. The app may not support every device, operating-system version, image format, or language. Temporary interruptions may occur.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ScreenSeek is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free results, fitness for a particular purpose, or compatibility with every device. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunities arising from your use of or inability to use ScreenSeek. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law and do not restrict mandatory consumer rights.
14. Suspension or termination
You may stop using ScreenSeek at any time. Your right to use the app may be suspended or terminated if you materially violate these terms, subject to applicable law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual-property, disclaimer, and liability provisions, will continue to apply.
15. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated to reflect changes to ScreenSeek, purchases, legal requirements, or third-party services. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Where required, additional notice or consent will be provided.
16. Privacy
ScreenSeek's handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy.
